Advertise on UrbanKit Studio
UrbanKit Studio is read by urban planners, county GIS staff, municipal employees, civic-tech developers, and public-records researchers. Most arrive through search with a specific task in hand: pull a parcel layer, build a notification radius, format a mailing list, find an ArcGIS endpoint. The audience is small, US-focused, and high-intent.
This page exists so vendors who want to reach that audience know where to send an email. We are not running a campaign. We are not pitching you. If our readers and your product line up, get in touch.
Audience
- Urban planners at city and county agencies
- Municipal staff handling public notice and zoning workflows
- GIS analysts and mapping professionals
- Civic-tech developers and consultants
- Public-records researchers, journalists, paralegals
Reach
Numbers are pulled from Google Search Console for the 28 days ending August 4, 2026. We quote ranges because search traffic moves, and we would rather under-promise than have a number age into a lie. The discovery spike of early 2026 has settled; what is still climbing is clicks, up 133% over the prior 28 days while click-through has roughly quadrupled since June.
| Metric | Range |
|---|---|
| Daily impressions | ~1,250 to 3,650 (avg ~2,580) |
| 28-day impressions | ~72,300 |
| 90-day impressions | ~179,600 |
| Growth | Clicks +133% vs the prior 28 days (click-through ~4x since June); impressions +0.8%, essentially flat |
| Geographic split | ~84% United States |
| Device profile | ~91% desktop, GIS-workflow audience |
Why this audience matters
- High intent. Readers arrive mid-task. They are evaluating tools, looking up file formats, or trying to finish a mailing.
- Niche fit. County GIS workflows, public notice mailings, and parcel data are core to the site. Off-topic sponsorships will not perform here.
- Editorial trust. The articles are written by a working operator and respected by the planner community. We protect that and so should you.
What we offer
- Display sponsorship. Sidebar and inline slots on tool and article pages. Nothing else is running in those positions, so a sponsor is not competing with an ad network for them.
- Article sponsorship. Sponsored related-content placement on tool pages and parcel-atlas county pages.
- Newsletter sponsorship. The newsletter has shipped and the signup is in the site footer. Volume is still low while the list grows, so ask for the current subscriber count before budgeting against it.
- Custom partnerships. Civic-tech vendors, GIS data providers, and municipal-software companies with a specific integration story can propose something else.
What we will not do
- Blast our newsletter list to your warmed leads. We will not rent the audience.
- Disguise sponsored content as editorial. Anything paid is labeled paid.
- Run pop-ups, modals, or interstitials.
- Add tracking pixels. There are none on the site today and a sponsorship will not be what introduces them.
Vendors we expect to fit
- Esri and the broader ArcGIS ecosystem
- Municipal SaaS: Tyler Technologies, Granicus, OpenGov, Accela, and similar
- Civic-tech consultancies serving cities and counties
- Mailing-list and print services such as Avery, Quill, ShipStation
- GIS data providers including Regrid, Mapbox, Datawrapper
Process
- Email contact@urbankitstudio.com with subject line UrbanKit Studio sponsorship inquiry. Include your company, product, and budget range.
- We reply within one week with available inventory and rates.
- Standard contracts run 30 days or one quarter, prepaid.
Rates
Pricing is on inquiry. We are not publishing a public rate card while traffic is scaling, because the right number for a sponsor in May is not the right number in November. Send the email and we will quote against current inventory.
