15 fields confirmed: OBJECTID, parcel_id, owner, alt_owner, property_type, property_use, land_value, building_value, total_value, local_gov, datetime_processed, feature_id, Shape__Area, Shape__Length, GlobalID. This is the Alaska Statewide Parcel FeatureServer, combining parcel data from various local government bodies in Alaska. Filter by local_gov field, use UPPER(local_gov) LIKE '%ANCHORAGE%' for Anchorage Municipality parcels (confirmed returning real parcels including United Airlines, residential, etc.). Owner query confirmed working. NOTE: Alaska does not have counties. It has boroughs and a small number of unified municipalities. Anchorage is officially the Municipality of Anchorage (FIPS 02020). This statewide service also covers Fairbanks North Star Borough, Matanuska-Susitna Borough, and other AK jurisdictions via the local_gov field. Coverage and completeness vary by participating jurisdiction.

Anchorage County's AK_Parcels layer exposes a parcel identifier (Parcel ID) and owner names (Owner Name, Alternate Owner Name). Use it for owner-name lookups and PIN-keyed record pulls. 4 of 9 listed fields accept queries; the rest are returned on read but not indexed for search. Served as an ArcGIS FeatureServer layer, so edits and applyEdits operations are technically exposed (read access only is published here); last verified 2026-05-15.

One county uses APN, another uses PIN, a third uses PARCEL_ID. Some expose owner names; others keep them on a separate assessor's portal. The searchable fields list above reflects what Anchorage County actually publishes, not what you might expect from a national standard (there isn't one).

services1.arcgis.com serves Anchorage County, Alaska parcels over public ArcGIS REST, but, like most county servers, it may not send the CORS headers a browser needs for a cross-origin fetch. If a direct browser call fails, the layer still works from curl, Postman, or a server-side script; the UrbanKit parcel lookup tool proxies the request, so a search that succeeds there confirms the layer is genuinely public.

Anchorage County's layer is hosted on Esri ArcGIS Online. Public ArcGIS endpoints rarely rate-limit individual reads, but services1.arcgis.com can throttle heavy automated traffic at the host level. Page through results with resultOffset / resultRecordCount and request only the fields you need. There's no API key and no charge from the county.
