Savannah and Chatham County, published by SAGIS. 125,326 parcels with owner names on 124,952 rows (99.7 percent), and the fullest field set in this batch: parcel id, two owner columns, a complete mailing address, a combined situs and split situs parts. IMPORTANT for maintenance: this service holds 28 year-versioned layers, 0 to 17 being Historic Parcels 1998 to 2015 and 18 to 27 being Parcel Digest 2016 to 2025. Layer 27 is the newest today. When SAGIS publishes Parcel Digest 2026 it will be layer 28 and this entry will silently go a year stale, so the layer index needs checking whenever this record is reverified.

Chatham County's Parcel Digest 2025 layer exposes a parcel identifier (Parcel ID), owner names (Owner Name, Owner Name 2, Owner Mailing Address, Owner Mailing City), and address fields (Site Address, Site City). Use it for owner-name lookups and address-based parcel searches. 7 of 8 listed fields accept queries; the rest are returned on read but not indexed for search. Served as an ArcGIS FeatureServer layer, so edits and applyEdits operations are technically exposed (read access only is published here); last verified 2026-08-25.

One county uses APN, another uses PIN, a third uses PARCEL_ID. Some expose owner names; others keep them on a separate assessor's portal. The searchable fields list above reflects what Chatham County actually publishes, not what you might expect from a national standard (there isn't one).

pub.sagis.org serves Chatham County, Georgia parcels over public ArcGIS REST, but, like most county servers, it may not send the CORS headers a browser needs for a cross-origin fetch. If a direct browser call fails, the layer still works from curl, Postman, or a server-side script; the UrbanKit parcel lookup tool proxies the request, so a search that succeeds there confirms the layer is genuinely public.
