Douglas County NE (Omaha metro, county seat Omaha) is served by DOGIS (Douglas-Omaha Geographic Information System), a joint city-county GIS agency. The Parcels_public FeatureServer/0 exposes 25 fields: PIN, OWNER_NAME, ADDRESS1/2 (owner mailing), OWNER_CITY, OWNER_STAT, OWNER_ZIP, PROPERTY_A (property address), HOUSE, STREET_DIR, STREET_NAM, STREET_TYP, APARTMENT, PROP_CITY, PROP_ZIP, SEC_TWN_RN, ADDITION_N, BLOCK, LOT, LEGAL1/2/3/4, DCAACCTYPE. Query confirmed live: UPPER(OWNER_NAME) LIKE '%SMITH%' returns real results (e.g., 'SMITH MARKITA T'). Note that PROPERTY_A and PROP_CITY may be empty. The address join may be incomplete for some parcels; use HOUSE + STREET_NAM for address search if needed. The main DOGIS portal is at dogis.org and the open data portal at data-dogis.opendata.arcgis.com. The dcgis.org server also hosts engineering/project imagery. The vector/ folder is the correct path for parcel data. Douglas County NE (FIPS 31055) must not be confused with Douglas County CO (08035), Douglas County GA (13097), or other Douglas counties.

Douglas County's Parcels layer exposes a parcel identifier (Parcel Identification Number), owner names (Owner Name, Owner Address 1, Owner Address 2, Owner City, Owner State, Owner ZIP), and address fields (Property Address, Street Name). Use it for owner-name lookups and address-based parcel searches. All 11 listed fields accept queries. Served as an ArcGIS FeatureServer layer, so edits and applyEdits operations are technically exposed (read access only is published here); last verified 2026-05-15.

One county uses APN, another uses PIN, a third uses PARCEL_ID. Some expose owner names; others keep them on a separate assessor's portal. The searchable fields list above reflects what Douglas County actually publishes, not what you might expect from a national standard (there isn't one).

dcgis.org serves Douglas County, Nebraska parcels over public ArcGIS REST, but, like most county servers, it may not send the CORS headers a browser needs for a cross-origin fetch. If a direct browser call fails, the layer still works from curl, Postman, or a server-side script; the UrbanKit parcel lookup tool proxies the request, so a search that succeeds there confirms the layer is genuinely public.

Douglas County's layer is hosted by the county on dcgis.org. Public ArcGIS endpoints rarely rate-limit individual reads, but dcgis.org can throttle heavy automated traffic at the host level. Page through results with resultOffset / resultRecordCount and request only the fields you need. There's no API key and no charge from the county.
