Parcel layer at layer index 6 of the Montgomery County Parcels service. Layer 0 does not exist and returns 'The requested layer (layerId: 0) was not found', so the index matters. 310,070 parcels with owner names on 302,241 rows (97.5 percent). One of the richer records in the registry at 122 columns, including a mailing address (ADDR1 through ADDR3 with ZIP1_ZIP2), a combined situs in LOCATION1, and split situs parts in LOC_NO, LOC_DIR, LOC_STR and LOC_SUF. The combined column is used, so no composite address assembly is needed.

Montgomery County's Montgomery County Parcels layer exposes a parcel identifier (Parcel ID), owner names (Owner Name, Owner Name 2, Owner Mailing Address, Owner Mailing ZIP), and address fields (Site Address). Use it for owner-name lookups and address-based parcel searches. 6 of 8 listed fields accept queries; the rest are returned on read but not indexed for search. Served as an ArcGIS FeatureServer layer, so edits and applyEdits operations are technically exposed (read access only is published here); last verified 2026-08-25.

One county uses APN, another uses PIN, a third uses PARCEL_ID. Some expose owner names; others keep them on a separate assessor's portal. The searchable fields list above reflects what Montgomery County actually publishes, not what you might expect from a national standard (there isn't one).
